The snow cover that we have will be a great protection for our strawberries. 
The cold temperatures are uncomfortable, but snow cover and many tons of straw keep the plants from harm.

We're often asked about our winter activities:

• applying mulch on the berries
• covering winter tender plants, greenhouse crops and attending the wood fired boiler for the greenhouse
• grower conferences
• pruning apples and blueberries.
