The Berry Patch is in the heart of Iowa – southeast of Ames, south of Nevada, and northeast of Des Moines. Come on by during open hours. You can also find us at farmer's markets.
From Ames (about 14 miles) [Google map]
- Take Highway 30 East. Go about 5.5 miles past I-35. On the way down from the overpass,
- Turn right/south at the West 4th St sign onto S14/620th Ave. Go 3.9 miles.
- Turn left/east onto 280 St. Go 3/4 mile down the hill and across the little bridge. On your way back up the hill, see the Berry Patch Farm sign and,
- Turn left into our driveway and drive up past the cherry trees. Say "Hi!" to Judy or Mike or whoever is in the stand.
From Des Moines (about 26 miles from 35/80 intersection) [Google map]
- Take Highway I-35 North. At Exit 102 for IA-210 toward Maxwell/Slater,
- Turn right/east on Highway 210 (signs for Maxwell/Cambridge). Go 5.4 miles.
- Turn left/north onto Highway S14/620th Ave. Go 5 miles.
- Turn right/east onto 280 St. Go 3/4 mile down the hill and across the little bridge. On your way back up the hill, see the Berry Patch Farm sign and,
- Turn left into our driveway and drive up past the cherry trees. Say "Hi!" to Judy or Mike or whoever is in the stand.
